What are that wizard and gnome up to?

Breaking ground.

Now, just what is up with that wizard and gnome, and just what exactly was in that mushroom they gave me?

I'm starting to see colors and everything is getting all psychedelic looking...

Can you see it? No?

I'm telling you, something strange is happening...

Everything is spinning.

Toto!

Change is in the wind, I can feel it...

And why is nobody clicking on the Christmas images in my last post to find the goodies Santa left for everyone?

C'mon people!

(Man, that mushroom is making me see some wierd things...)

I didn't click on the photos because I was afraid. Afraid I would be taken to the land of recipes. When I was younger and dumber I use to look at recipes and think to myself "I can do this." I would throw myself into the preparation of a fine meal. My children and my dog would huddle in the corner of the living room - terrified. After many hours of cooking and preparing I would serve the meal. It never turned out right. My soups would be blue or green, my brownies would be burnt, half done, or both. My cookies...... my ex brother in law said they would be better used as a foundation for a house. My cooking was so bad that my dog would run away from home to eat at my mothers. My children learned to cook because they didn't want me in the kitchen. I did set fire to it once. So I was afraid. Afraid I would see something tempting and try to create. Ahhh just pass me a mushroom and I will calm down.

LOL! In my case, because I'm pretty dense & didn't think to look. Wish I had a little person in my life to share the Santa's village thing with.

Mahalo.

I looked for a comment from you yesterday on my post about my brother. :0( Now I'm gonna go sit in the corner & pout.

Well, I wasn't going to blog today. The well-driller is here in the forest today and up to his neck in mud and snow, but now I see that Sigmund has gotten loose again - that rascally gnome!! And apparently he made off with my stash of shrooms, to boot. What's a wizard to do?

By the way, the picture of Sigmund is typical of him: using an axe when he should be using a shovel. (It was taken during the fleeting moment he tried to help the well-driller).

I clicked on the cookie photo but immediately gained 4 pounds. It's not like I have to fly on a broom or anything, but the size 6 wizard suit is getting snug, so I quickly returned here.

Enjoy the strangeness, marvel at the colors, spin with the wind!

But what is really hidden beneath those pictures? Oh I know it looks innocent enough. But, is Dirk's real plan? Something sinister I would think.

It all starts with some recipes and other fun stuff. Then before you know it you've fallen into Dirk's elaborate and evil trap. Dirk will have complete control of you. You will succumb to his will.

Yes, I do live in a lively fantasy world. Why do you ask?

Hi there, Dirk_Star,

Why don't I click on the pictures? Well, the pictures are large enuf to be easily seen ... and your text is often engaging and funny enuf that it keeps my attention.

What's the difference between a wizard, gnome, and a troll? I see the first two sometimes when I go out to my local bars. As for Wizard, well, that's the name of our city's basketball team...

You are one hell of a prolific blogger, Dirk.

I do like reading your blog for the fact that it is full of wits, funny and most of all educational esp. English is not my first language!

Thanks for commenting on my site!

Merry Christmas!
Don

Forget the 'shrooms. Angel's trumphet is the new herbal wonder of the season.

Sing with me people!
