Pictures at an exhibition.

Still my favorite picture of Micah as a newborn baby.
It is amazing how much he has changed in just eight weeks.
People are right, it goes by so much faster than you
can possibly imagine.

Every Monday afternoon I take a picture of Micah with
Lamb Chop. This one is perhaps my favorite to date;
Wrestle Mania Monday. Micah swears that he is training
very hard and promises he will take him in the rematch.

It is so nice to see his eyes begin to shine with the light
of awareness. Every day he is spending more and more
time gazing at the world around him and soaking it all up.

I never imagined how much I'd enjoy the experience of fatherhood.
Everyday with the little nugget is an adventure and I can't wait for
the twists and turns in the road to come.

Bring it on!

That Lamp Chop can be a real beast! And I'm not sure she always fights fair.

Oh just wait for the "real" smiles and coo's. To hear them happily gurgling away at you will make you a blubbery mess. Wait, listen. Any time now....

eep... now I kinda, wanna have another lol.

Am I mistaken, or did you call your son a nugget?

Missed you. But I understand--kids are great, but babies can wear you out. Yet it is so worth it!

I remember pushing my youngest son through the mall once, he was 4 or 5 months old. While we walked, he got the hic-ups. This led to the most joyous, belly laughter form him you ever heard. Just about time he’d stop laughing, he’d ‘hic’ again and LAUGH. We were smiling an d laughing at/with him and actually had a small crowd giggling just for the joy of it.

Let the good time roll my friend and please, PLEASE, keep us up to date with his and your antics.

My friend just had a baby and her little girl is the closest thing I have to my own child. I love that little girl to death. I am supposed to be made the Godfather I hope it all works out.

Why yes, I did indeed call my son a nugget...

Felicia and I use the term as one of endearment.

There are chicken nuggets and there are baby nuggets.

Baby nuggets are more fun to dip in the sauce.

I'm too old for Lamb Chop.

Do they make a life-like Shari Lewis doll?

Aren't they great?

We took a picture of my booger with a stuffed monkey when she first came home. The monkey is stored away safely for later humiliation when she brings home boys.

There is nothing as pure as the celebration of one's children. He looks scrummy......Bit of a crass statement I know but make the most of every moment, there's nothing like it
