I think to myself; what a wonderful world...

Baby Micah, says hello world and Lurlene too!

I only have a few minutes before I return to the hospital.

Labor was induced at seven P.M. last night and the baby arrived at seven after five this afternoon.

It is a tale I look forward to sharing.

Eight pounds and one ounce in weight and twenty one inches long.

It was the most amazing experience I've ever participated in.

Thank you all for the well wishes.

Felicia is doing fine.

I thought the labor would never end and we weren't sure if she had the reserves to push the baby out, but she performed like a champion.

We are both exhausted...

She is glowing.

AWESOME! Congratulations!!!

I had a total new respect for women after my boy was born. I will never forget that. We men are total wimps. We are nothing.

So you didn't name the baby George W?

I thought every father wanted his son to grow up to be president! Or did you think a Bauman nation would be an abomination?

Best to all!!!

Felicia is in tears trying to breastfeed. Shes in pretty good spirits though and feeling better.

I have more pictures on the way.

Yes, I've changed diapers now.

Yes, I cut the cord.

No I didn't pass out.

Future dads, be there when your baby is born.

You can handle it and it is the most wonderful miracle you will ever experience...

Being there for the first breath, the first sound and the first wet moment of life is the most sacred event you can ever know.

I'm so glad I was a part of birthing process.

Praise The Lord for the safe arrival of Micah into this rather broken world. Congratulations to both of you from your friends in England. With your love and devotion he is assured of a wonderful life ahead him. God has blessed you with His precious gift and our prayers have been answered in full. We look forward to more wonderful pictures in the near future. We wish you peaceful nights and joyful days.

Congrats :-)

Tell your sweet wife that breastfeeding is a struggle, but it is worth it in the end. I only know one mama who didn't have issues at the beginning, and those breastfeeding start issues eventually disappear.

Check out the La Leche League International help website for some great breastfeeding assistance.

Best Wishes to the new Mom and Dad. I know she'll have a wonderful upbringing with the two of you. If only more people such as yourselves would raise kids the right way. Don't worry: some day you'll be able to catch up on sleep.

Breast feeding is rough at first, tell her to hang in there. It does get better.

Just wait though. It is a weird and strange thing when the little ones wean themselves and mommy gets all teary eyed because the breast feeding has stopped.

Congrats again.
