The only meme I'll ever do!

"Don't make me kill the elf."

I don't know, I'm just not much of a fan of the meme. I'm only doing this one because my good friend asara dragoness tagged me.

I would also be remiss here if I did not offer a hearty congratulations on her recent Best Blog Of The Day Award.

Way to go, girl! You always make me smile with your bubbly personality.

My favorite Christmas Songs

1. John Lennon - So This Is Christmas
2. Simon and Garfunkel - Silent Night
3. Jackson Browne - The Rebel Jesus
4. Emerson Lake and Palmer - I Believe in Father Christmas
5. Vince Vance and The Valiants - All I Want For Christmas Is You

Hmmmmm ... interesting list. The Lennon one seems a bit high. No Burl Ives??? That man has a roaring fireplace of a voice, so soothing...

I can't think of any Christmas songs I like. Did South Park do a Christmas song? If Tenacious D released a tasty Christmas jam that would be awesome.

Well, I already covered this subject ad nauseum from a "Least Favorite" perspective.

I put "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" at the top of the LEAST favorite list, because it gives smarmy radio programmers the delusion that they are "hip"--and other reasons, like it celebrates a war that the US LOST. (And the current "war is not over," etc.)

But I must admit that this little nugget is Phil Spector in all of his pistol toting, pill popping, budget overdoing, splendorous excess. And for that, it gets an honorable mention for a---well, I don't know WHAT, but it is certainly more interesting than "Little Drummer Boy."

I must admit, as Xmas songs go, one song that I overlooked previously was, "Baby It's Cold Outside."

I like this song because it was as close as anyone got to actually getting laid in 1949.

I simply adore A Charlie Brown Christmas by the Vince Guaraldi Trio when I am in the Christmas spirit. Funny but I've been that way all day today. :-)

When I am not I Will Be Hating You For Christmas by Everclear is wonderful. It's really not as mean as it sounds.

Of course I've heard the Lennon song. It is also a favorite of mine. I'm gonna have to check out the rest of the songs you've listed...

One of my favorites is the Waitresses Christmas Wrapping song.

The list is pretty interesting.

I remembered to click on the picture this time. Elf Bowling is one of my all time favorite games to play online.

I particularly like "HOORAY FOR SANTA CLAUS" from that time children's motion picture, "Santa Claus Conquers The Martians!"

"You spell it S-A-N-T-A C-L-A-U-S / Hooray for Santy Claus!"

"The Nameless One"
